Book as radical archive/polemic collection
In this project, I made a book, and as a set of ideas and processes for understanding and exploring books, I referenced the 2012 book Post-Digital Print: The Mutation of Publishing since 1894, by Alessandro Ludovico.
By ‘post-digital’ we mean that digital technologies are everywhere, normalised, and no longer revolutionary. And while the death of print has been falsely predicted for over a century now, it’s undeniable the effect the last 30 years has had on the form of the book and the mechanisms of publishing. In this project I explored these ideas and their poetic potential.
